Retro Pride – Jeff and I in 2002

The above picture is from the time Jeff and I took part in the 2002 NYC Pride March (in NYC it’s a march, not a parade). We marched the entire route that day, not the current shorter route, the long-ass old school one. It was exhausting, but exhilarating and I am thankful that I got the chance to do it. I hope everyone finds their own special way to celebrate their pride today.
