I’m a book slut and will read all tropes, but I do like a good threesome story. Hot Floor by Josephine Myles is my favorite, but there are a handful of great others.
My favourite romance trope is friends to lovers. I’m not a huge fan of insta-love so I like it when the characters already know each other but that then deepens into something more (especially when they’re clueless or in denial so I can anticipate the coming love-trainwreck).
I like so many but my favorites are GFY. I like to think that love conquers everything. Also I love menage books. My favorite is Three’s Company by NR Walker. Keep up the great podcast guys.
I like many types of trope, but my favorite would be friends to lovers with gay for you as a close second. If they are friends they know each other well and it is so easy and naturally to fall in love.
Favorite trope is probably friends to lovers or GFY.
My favorite trope is going from enemies to loves. There is just something about having all the pent up rage towards each other and then to become lovers.
Favorite troupe is probably paranormal. Love to read about the different worlds, fated mates, magic, dragons, shifters, etc. I love it because real life can be hard, paranormal gives me different worlds where anything can happen
I’ve always loved friends-to-lovers, since it seems like the ultimate kind of intimacy. (There’s usually a healthy dollop of unresolved sexual tension, which is also a favorite trope when done right!)
My favorites are enemies to lover and second chance, I really tend to totally fall for those stories. There also tends to be a lot of passion in them!
Favorite trope… is nerd and hot cop/alpha male a trope.. because if so that’s my jam.
I love friends/enemies to lovers 🙂
Alphas or Dom getting together
Alphas with a beta all the way. the more men in a story together the better
Friends to lovers but I also love well-rounded menage stories as well
Favorite romance trope… Gay for you. Especially if they’ve grown up together and discover what they feel is more than just friendship.
I enjoy mpreg stories, friend to lover and shifter stories. If all three appear in one story even better =)
I love paranormal books the most
Such a tough question – I’m not sure if I’ve discovered a trope yet that I don’t enjoy. I love friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, alpha/omega, shifters, mpreg, MMM, you name it. The only one I don’t like so much is instalove as I like seeing the couple get to know each other, do some sweet ole wooing and build up to being in love!
I think it’s the second chance at love when one of the men felt betrayed by the other’s actions in the past.
I’ll read almost anything but one of my favorites is enemies to lovers because I feel like those books are so much more emotionally significant due to the mc’s having to fight for their love.
Is May/Dec romance a trope? If so that’s my favorite. As we all know though I’ll honestly read anything. 🙂
Favorite trope…do I have to pick one? I like the friends to lovers or anything paranormal.
Angst with a happy enough ending 🙂
