The children’s book Promised Land, a fairy tale about a farm boy and a prince, is one of my favorite things of this year. It’s a delight to see two boys front and center in a traditional style fairy tale. The guys who created the book, Adam Reynolds and Chaz Harris, are working on a new book now, set in the same world, called Maiden Voyage. This time out two girls headline the story. I had a wonderful time talking to Adam and Chaz about this project and the Kickstarter they’re running to bring Maiden Voyage to fruition.
