I, like many gay men of my generation, watched and loved the Wonder Woman TV show. Lynda Carter embodied strength, intelligence, beauty and a kick-ass fashion sense. My love for the iconic character has never wavered and, over the years, I’ve collected a lot of Wonder Woman ephemera. I decided to showcase my collection on what I’m calling #WonderWomanWednesday.

This is a “Belly Washer” (!?!), a kid’s bottled juice drink I found at my local grocery store in NYC. This Kool-Aid wannabe (which has 0% juice according to the nutrition label) was ‘Black Cherry Blast’ flavor. But let’s face it, no one is going to buy this for the drink, it’s all about the kick-ass packaging. The label features some really terrific artwork and a nicely sculpted bottle-top (resembling the Cartoon Network Justice League version of the character) that would prove irresistible to any kid… or middle-aged Wonder Woman collector.
