Today was the day to see the hand doctor… and the news is that I have a hairline fracture of the 5th metacarpus, translated it’s the bone that links my pinky to my hand (that’s my own translation, not that of a medical professional. So I’m in a splint for at least the next four weeks. I’m allowed to play hockey if the splint can fit inside the glove. I have to wear this thing basically anytime I’m doing anything with my hand, including sleeping. I don’t have to wear it if I’m just watching TV or something though.
I’ll see about hockey early tomorrow morning when I try to go do Ronnie’s Ice.
