I’ve never talked about NHL hockey on the blog before, for no real reason other than I just haven’t been moved to do so. But it is worth noting that one of the players I like watching the most is having an incredible season. Last night, in a game against the New Jersey Flyers, Sidney Crosby took over as the NHL scoring leader, besting Jaromir Jagr (another player I like to watch) by three points. At just 19, Crosby is playing some of the the best hockey possible, and can you imagine how good he’s going to get as he keeps getting more experience.
In the Flyers game, Crosby got six points (one goal and five assists) and helped get the Penguins an 8-4 win… a win the Penguins desperately need if they’re going to make the playoffs this year.
If you have any doubt of Crosby’s ability to move the puck (and score), check out this clip from last week’s Rangers/Penguins game.
