It was a rainy, windy morning in New York City, but that didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the hundreds of dancers that turned up this morning for the first of two days of auditions for season seven of Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance. Being the SYTYCD geek that I am, I was compelled to go 1 1/2 block out of my way to check out what was going on at the Manhattan Center on 34th Street between 8th and 9th Avenue.
A highlight of the morning for me: Seeing host Cat Deeley arrive. Sadly I wasn’t in position to grab a picture.
Here are a few soggy pictures of the scene
The folks at the head of the line, eagerly awaiting to be the first to sign in for the morning’s auditions.
And an even closer look at the head of the line. Is one of these people America’s next favorite dancer?
Looking down 34th street as the line of people continues and rounds the corner onto 9th Avenue.
Auditions for So You Think You Can Dance continue through the winter and spring and season 7 premieres this summer on Fox. I can’t wait!
