It’s not always a TV dance show that can make me connect a song to a dance. Years before the Broadway musical Contact, Robert Palmer’s “Simply Irresistible” had a distinctive music video. But from first time I saw the song used in the show to introduce the Woman in the Yellow Dress, the original video no longer existed for me. This piece of Susan Stroman choreography was forever linked to the song going forward.
