One of the best shows I saw this past year was the revival of On the Town. Not only was it a fantastic revival of a classic musical, but the choreography by Joshua Bergasse was out of this world. Bergasse was the co-winner of the Astaire Award this year (along side An American in Paris’ Christopher Wheeldon) and was nominated for a Tony as well. Here is one of the centerpieces of the show, “The Times Square Ballet” featuring Tony nominated leading actor Tony Yazback (who tied for this year’s Astaire Award for male dancer with Paris’ Robert Fairchild).
