This summer I’m most excited for Tj Klune’s final book in the Bear Otter and the Kid series. Everything will be put on hold to read that.
Thanks so much for all the book recs! I’ve read so many!
I’ll be re-reading Escapade by Dolce at least once this summer. It’s just one of my favorites!
After episode 85, I may be reading The Perils of Intimacy by Rick R. Reed.
I don’t have a favorite summer read, but I am looking forward to reading Before you Break by K.C. Wells and Parker Williams.
I love Clare London’s SAY A LITTLE PRAYER, about a college-aged ice cream cart vendor on a beach in Brighton and the angel who falls in love with him. Both guys are so lovable, and it’s incredibly sexy! It always makes me cry happy tears, which almost never happens. (Couple of recs for you, before I forget…even though Season 3 doesn’t start for a while, you’d really enjoy CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND. The songs are amazing, Rachel Bloom is all-world, and there’s a really wonderful couple consisting of a newly-out older bi guy and a younger gay man. Also, even though it’s not a romance and is harrowing reading at times, Fredrik Bachman’s BEARTOWN is wonderfully done. The hockey sequences are so vivid, and I was pleasantly surprised that there was a multifaceted gay character included, who ended up being my favorite.)
Hi Trix! Thanks for the recommendations.
We LOVE “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” (Paula’s stuck in the bathroom…..) We binged season 1 on Netflix last summer and watched season two as it aired. Can’t wait to se what happens in three after the meltdown at the end of season 2.
BEARTOWN sounds amazing…but wow, $13.99 for an ebook is ridiculous. It’s on my wish list now and I’ll maybe pick it up in a bookstore for cheaper.
Now that Destiny of Dragons has been announced the sequel to The Lightning Struck Heart by TJ Klune… that’s the one I’m most excited about.
Also, I got a free 60 day trial of Kindle Unlimited so I’m using that to read new to me authors.
I feel like I do a lot of re-reads over the summer, going back to my favorites for that feel good, relaxed read!
I think i am gonna re read Annie on My Mind by Nancy Garden…Last year cost me a sunburn because i forgot time and place. This year i will seat in the shadows before i begin reading!
Read carefully! Even the best book isn’t worth the pain of a sunburn 🙂
In The Ruins by Hailey Turner
I also love re-reading my favourite books to relax
I don’t really have a favorite summer read. I am looking forward to more installment of the THIRDS series by Charlie Cochet.
I don’t have specific summertime reads. I usually re-read my favorites like the Marshals series by Mary Calmes.
Right now I love the THIRDS by Charlie Cochet, I read like 11 books in the month of may., Just your normal shifter, government group protecting the USA from people set to terrorize citizens.
There are two I’m looking forward to this summer, both are Tj Klune books. BOATK4 and
TLSH Destiny of Dragons. Followed by anything I can get from so many other favourite authors.
