Cats Garage Sale

Everything must go….. items from the junkyard (the cans, cereal boxes, etc.) went for $25, regular costumes were $75 while more complex ones were $100-$200, head pieces were $75, shoes were $10 per pair, leg and arm warmers were $10 each, subway posters were $30 while smaller posters went between $10-$20. Also available were things like Christmas-like light strings that hung from the theatre ceiling, commemorative coloring books, the sign that hung in the lobby with the cast list, the name plates from the cast list sign, appliances that were used backstage (like refrigerators and air conditioners). The garage sale ran from 10 to 6 with a live auction at 4.

At the auction you could pick up: the shoe that falls on stage in Act I (starting price $100), Jennanydots/Old Gumbie Cat costume ($250), Skimbleshanks The Railway Cats Train ($250), Bustopher Jones Costume & Hat ($250), Old Deuteronomy Costume ($300), the big tire ($500). All proceeds from everything went to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
