The Big Gay RT Round-Up – BGFP episode 83

Jeff and I spend the bulk of this episode talking about our experience at the Romantic Times Booklovers Convention (we loved it btw), including the panels we attended and people we talked with.  While there, we gave a talk on podcasting that went very well (if we do say so ourselves). We also announce a giveaway for an RT17 tote bag filled with books and swag that listeners in the U.S. and Canada can register to win via a Rafflecopter. Be sure to check it out at BigGayFictionPodcast.com!

Romantic Times in Atlanta

Hey everybody! Jeff and I survived our first ever Romantic Times Booklovers Convention! We spent five days at the Hyatt in downtown Atlanta going to panels and parties and having a grand ole’ time. The first two days were spent in a workshop with Cherry Adair. We covered plotting and characterization and got to have a one-on-one brainstorming session with Cherry herself about our current writing project. The rest of our week was spent at different panels, some much great information! On Friday we gave our own presentation on podcasting and it went really well. We hung out with a bunch of our author friends and came home with swag and books… overall, we’re super happy with how everything went. If you’d like a more in depth look at how we spent our week, you can checkout episode 83 of the BigGayFictionPodcast.

Cheesecake Boys – BGFP episode 82

Jeff and I are at the RT Booklovers Convention in Atlanta this week, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have a new episode filled with books, boys and fun! I review The Solder’s Scoundrel by Cat Sebastian (OMG I loved it!), then we have a coloring party with Paul Richmond and Aaron Anderson to celebrate the release of the Cheesecake Boys Coloring Book. You’re not going to want to miss it! Check it out at BigGayFictionPodcast.com.

Books Reviews and Author Talk – BGFP episode 81

This week we talk to author Ariel Tachna about her latest books Talking in Code and Stage Two. Plus she tells us about her job as Dreamspinner Press’s translations coordinator. We review books by Shira Anthony and Jay Bell. Jeff made it through the arduous process of a week-long stint in jury duty and reminded everyone about the upcoming Somewhere on Mackinac blog tour. All of this and more can be found at BigGayFictionPodcast.com!
