Writing news from Jeff opens the podcast as he discusses edits, cover paperwork and turning Dancing for Him into a paperback. Jeff heads to the East Coast this week to participate in Cycle for the Cause and gives details on supporting the HIV/AIDS services offered by the LGBT Center in NYC.
The guys have a poor update on their 60 Day Challenge before Jeff expresses his love for M.J. O’Shea’s Marriage of Inconvenience.
Pat Henshaw drops by the podcast as part of the 2016 GRL Blog Tour. She talks about the latest in the Foothills Pride series, Relative Best.
Jeff & Will review what they’ve been watching recently. Will’s got the movie Boy Meets Girl. They both talk about finishing off the seasons of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Empire and Dead of Summer. Jeff was in L.A. during the past week and visited The Ripped Bodice bookstore again–this time to talk with owners Bea & Leah Koch for an interview that will be coming up in episode 51 (September 26). He also talks about the editing and paperback formatting he’s been working on.
The guys got big news this week–they’ll be hosting a Podcasting 101 workshop during RT in Atlanta (May 2017). They are excited and maybe a little freaked out.
Jeff once again mentions Cycle for the Cause and the book giveaway he’s doing for U.S. residents who pledge $100 or more and he thanks his past week’s donors. On the book front Jeff & Will call out accomplishments from Devon McCormick and Riley Hart as well as TJ Klune news and the latest installment of the Life with Kevin comic book that comes out this week.
Fall Book conventions are underway as the UK Meet, Decatur Book Fair and the Central New York Author Expo all took place over Labor Day weekend. Jeff and Will have an update on the 60 Day Challenge they are doing and a shoutout to Star Trek on its 50th anniversary.
Brandon Witt previews two new series and chats about what he’s looking forward to in Kansas City as part of the GRL Blog Tour. Christian Baines also stops by to discuss his latest urban fantasy, The Orchard of Flesh.

Jeff kicked off the show with writing updates before giving a shoutout to the SkullFace Project, which is a creation of artist Matthew O’Brien. It combines his love of art, music, history, celebrity and current events.
The proposed TV pilot Truth Slash Fiction (which the guys absolutely love) became an official selection for both ITVFest-Independent Television Festival and the New York Television Festival.
Jeff talked about the new comic book, The Backstagers, which chronicles the behind the scenes adventures of a high school stage crew whose members cover the LGBTQ spectrum. Will reviewed Marriage of Inconvenience by M.J. O’Shea, which is her third Dreamspun Desires book in 2016. Jeff and Will also discuss their sixty day fitness goal to eat right in advance of GRL.
C.S. Poe joins the show as part of the 2016 GRL Blog Tour and talks about her latest book, The Mystery of Nevermore, as well as her time teaching in Japan. Next A.J. Truman is interviewed about his Browerton University series and makes some book and Netflix recommendations.
