Jeff and I take a moment to remember author, publisher and GRL co-organizer Ethan Day who passed away on November 10.

We discuss the UK musical Everybody’s Talking about Jamie, about a sixteen-year-old boy who wants to be a drag queen. I review Chance at Love by Silvia Violet (such a feel-good, sweet read) while Jeff looks at Craft Brew by Layla Reyne and Hidden in Darkness by Alice Winters.

Lisa from The Novel Approach recommends books by Gregory Ashe and the duo of Kelley York & Rowan Altwood along with a Christmas story by Leta Blake. Lisa also takes a moment to remember Ethan.

The Many Books of Ari McKay – BGFP episode 162

After we completed production on this episode, we learned that Ethan Day had passed away. Ethan means a lot to us and everyone in the gay romance community as a friend, author, publisher, co-founder and co-organizer of GRL and so much more. He will be deeply missed. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends. We’ll remember Ethan in episode 163 next week.
